I learned to meditate in 1962, when MMY called the technique "Deep
Meditation". In 1964, the Newspapers in Norway almost daily for a
month wrote about all the claims people had about "Deep Meditation".
They paid 1/2 month salary to the Organisation (50 % went to India).
It was no following-up of the Meditation Course (One day initiating
and one day of checking the Mantras). and some told their Mantras to
the Newspapers, feeling very disappointed about the whole thing. The
year after, MMY came to Norway, and was rather furious about the
negative writings about "Deep Meditation", the course fees and what
they wrote about the Mantras. I think the Mantras was changed after
that.
