No, you don't, because I am not pointing to any large groups of
pundits in India. The TMO is claiming 200K pundits, but these are
dispersed throughout India until facilities are ready:
http://vedicpandits.org

Using existing facilities and local support of people who like to
support the pundits in their communities is what's feasible now, and
there are TMO pundits in many cities in India which add up to 200K.
Actually having big groups in one place is an expensive operation
even in India, and the TMO, trying to avoid the abandonment of
previous efforts, is only using the interest on the $87 million
raised http://www.maharishi-fund.org/ , which limits the ability to
build and maintain large pundit groups. Sooner or later some Indian
zillionaires (a rupee is only worth about 2 cents) will get pundit
fever and start major support, in addition to the localized support
the TMO pundits are getting now. The interest on $87 millions is
about 4.3 mil/yr, which buys a lot of rice and beans, but not enough
to do a lot of building plus rice for 200K people.
