Zen comes from 'Zyan', which comes from 'Syino', which comes from 
ancient Japanese 'Syhinto', which comes from Sanskrit 'Sindhu'...which 
means "Ocean", which comes from the "ocean of mundane existence which 
must be crossed" (transcended).
You're right I can see there is no difference.
