Margaret Thatcehr was known to sleep no more that 5 hours every night. It is not such a stretch to think that Maharishi could sleep less than Thatcher. A couple of hours less per night would put him at 3 hours a night.
The dark glasses thing seems far-fetched. Anyone ever see Maharishi in shades?
