I mentioned Bush Sr. because you seemed to be mystified about Dumbya's having been to MIU, but it's a commonplace for candidates and their entourage to visit college campuses and/or small towns or other small venues to drum up votes and workers and money. It was dumbya who was on the cover (print edition only) of the MIU Review 17 Jan 2001 wearing an MIU baseball cap when he visited the campus drumming up support for his dad in 1988 -- there's a caption for the photo, but no article.
