Pleased to meetcha. I earned a living as a full-time TM teacher for several years, and then I got "drafted" to work at US National for another few years, earning a meagre (very meagre...I think the most I ever earned was $600 per month, but it was enough to get by) for another few years. Just because not everyone did it doesn't mean it couldn't be done. That said, the *fun* and the subjective fulfillment of doing it were not even in the same ballpark as the times I spent working for a living and paying for all my teach- ing activities myself. I'm not saying that taking money for teaching is bad, per se. I'm just reporting my experience, which corresponds on pretty much a one-to-one basis with a number of other traditional views on the energetics of spiritual teaching.
