Jim, If I am going to try to intuit motivation, I'd rather err on the side of altruism. It seems that the community around the development feels the same way. Maybe his support of Gov. Arnold is as complex as well - often choosing the lesser of seeming evils is the best that can be done.... I find it amazing how easily the press can manipulate the political mind by glossing over the subtlties of a situation. $500-700 /per night hotels and 33 homes is still easier on the natural environment than 300+ houses. Sounds like they could do something to improve the situation (re: the original developers) and they did. Also sounds like some altruism on their part to me, along with a win for the current developers and the community too. We've worn this one out... ;-) JohnY To subscribe, send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Or go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FairfieldLife/ and click 'Join This Group!' Yahoo!
