I would love to see a "greatest hits" compilation
of posts, but seriously doubt I would ever take
the time to act as guest editor.

Similarly, I've always wondered how other people
are reacting to posts. Frankly, I've often wanted to
solicit votes: how many people agree with
Participant A? How many support Participant B?

I'm surprised a savvy organization like Yahoo! hasn't
addressed these issues with technology. Yahoo
could put a ballot on its web interface, and maybe
on e-mailed posts as well. "Was this post helpful
to you?" and a ranking of 0 through 5, not helpful
to very helpful. One click would show the count.

To the point you make below, Rick, the question
might be, "Add to Memorable Posts file? Yes - No."
The propellorheads could develop some algorithm
by which a post makes the cut, based on page views
or some such thing. And it would be subject to
human management.

So, my response is, great idea, love it, can't help, good luck.

Now you know how Maharishi feels.
