"Maharishi is using "ugly" methods to remove the ugly capitalism" This goes against nobler principles - love removing hate, light removing darkness etc. How can you model goodness by behaving even more abominably than everyone else? The simplest explanation is that power has corrupted MMY; convoluted explanations involving "unfathomable" actions working out positively "in the end", maybe at "subtler levels" at first, which may be glorified in some catchy metaphore etc - these are desperate attempts to keep the "dream" alive by miraculous means, in spite of all the evidence.. I used to that myself, but not anymore!
