Is it just me or have others found MMY as an older man a somewhat different PERSONALITY than he'd appeared earlier, say in the 70s? For instance, his sense of humour seems different; his intonation of certain words he wants to emphasise, seem different. He used to be careful not to make comments that might antagonise religious or political sensibilities, whereas for some time now he rants on against one thing or another - democracy, human rights, etc. There is more frustration evident in him. I remember a video in which his body subtly swayed from left to right in annoyance alongside an articulate Chopra enjoying being the centre of attention. MMY recently admitted feeling frustrated after 50 years of fruitless campaigns to get governments interested in his peace project - finally deciding to go it alone. Is this just old age catching up on him or something else, I wonder. Surely those of you who knew him intimately in his prime will also have noted these rather dramatic changes, no?
