Jim, Bazaar of India (on University Ave. in Berkeley a couple of blocks west of MLK Jr. Blvd.) has one or two beautiful stone images of Saraswati right now (or at least they did a month ago) and all their stone images are 20% off (even then they are a bit pricey). Bombay Spice House (also in Berkeley on Univ. Ave. around San Pablo Blvd.) has lots of great stuff and lots more images, small and large and in two dimensions as well as three, and the prices are better generally. The owner/mgr. there, Deepak, will discount just about anything if he notices real interest and has never charged me tax for anything I've bought. Of course, that just probably means the markup was totally high to begin with, but it still always feels nice and it's a great store with great food, too.
