Or just dead and lost and stupid and attached to
this world and taking advantage of even more
stupid Newagers to get one last kick or two in
a body.

I never cease to be amazed at people who are 
interested in or open to channeling and/or poses-
sion.  Every traditional spiritual teacher I know
of has warned against it, and for good reasons.
But people persist in such practices, almost 
certainly because the thought that they were
singled out for the "honor" makes them feel 
important, and/or they get off on the attention
they receive from other equally silly humans when 
they talk about their experiences.

Over time, it also tends to erode the immune 
system and make them sick.  Have you ever
seriously examined the aura of someone who has
been channeling for some time?  It is full of 
these icky gray worm-like things, and the
energy field itself is so degraded that it 
looks like Swiss cheese.

As my Tibetan friend said, "A fool and his body
are soon parted."

You can tell I'm not a fan of such practices.  :-)
