I have the "Talks with Ramana Maharshi" Book it's a great compilation
of Ramana's teachings. Then I bought a little book of reminiscences
by a devotee that fills in some time left out of the "Talks" book/
apparently even the monkeys in the forest around the ashram loved
Ramana so much, they would come to him to settle their disputes
between different groups of monkees. This devotee witnessed a
fascinating event. Tamarind trees are considered unlucky to have on
your property in India, but everyone wants and uses tamarind, so
they've planted alot of the trees along public thoroughfares and in
the area around the ashram a man protected the tamarinds from being
consumed by the monkees by using a small catapult to shoot rocks at
them. He tried to be careful, use small rocks and just shoo them,
but one time he killed a young monkey, the "tribe" gathered it and
lay it at the feet of Ramana, he was heard to quietly console them,
explaining that it was an accident, sorry, but everyone has to die
sometime, etc. The Vedanta bookstores have an extensive collection
of his works, also Nisargadatta, Jean Klein, Balkasar, and many
others. You can shop their catalog online at Vedanta.org
