I was watching TV the other night and a guy was holding a poison arrow frog in his hand explaining how the natives would rub their arrow tips on the frogs toxic skin to make them more effective in bringing the prey down. He then said that the chemicals on the skin, when licked, had a mild hallucinogenic effect, adding that he didn't think he would be licking one anytime soon to see if it worked.
