I seriously think, since Bevan et al had the nerve to come up with that cover story about the pundits' mamas not wanting them to travel (when in fact the pundits could not get visas because of poverty, a belated recognition that could easily have been avoided by trying to get a few visas before building the trailer park), that a transitional story is being floated about 200 pundits coming to Vedic City. Once people are comfortable with the 200 figure, then some new excuse will come up for the pundits not coming -- maybe they're needed more in Lebanon or something, then the 200 Purusha can be slipped in after conditioning the TM community to lowered expectations. Because the TMO is rehabbing 100+ Livingston Manor, despite its poor vastu, which can only be a home (again) for the ~100 Mother Divine, it looks like they are trying to do everything on the cheap, which means that it seems unlikely that they are really going to build in Santa Cruz Ca, which would be a very costly effort -- I'm taking bets now that Purusha will come to Vedic City before their kick-out date of Feb 2006 from Boone, and it might even be possible to work something out with Jefferson County so that they do not have to pay property taxes like they did in North Carolina.
