Nah, it is from George as in, George and the Dragon. George comes from 
Gheshowa which is from Jeshowa (Joshua, Jeshau, Jesus) which is from 
JeShiwa, which is why Shiva stands on the demon-dog thingy in his dance 
of Shiva, and St. George slays the Dragon in this ancient celtic 
remnant of the slaying of ignorance concept embodied in the Dance of 
Shiva statues.
