And so did Maharishi ! He would never except someone's shyness in wanting to avoid being celebrated on his birthday - all had to come up on stage and sit next to him on that day. He said that on that particular day that persons Devatas was very lively and the person was not receiving in celebration, rather he was distributing freely of that particular energy.
