And there's nothing in that quote to support Lawson's silly claim, Judy.

Um, oh, other than that an associate of the president
of India thought Guru Dev was a great spiritual leader
and expected his audience to agree, you mean?

What exactly made him "important"? What did
he actually *do*?

He was a spiritual leader, Sal. He led spiritually.

Oh, OK, got it. I take it all back in that case.

He had many followers who thought he was wise and
enlightened, including a number of folks who were
important in their own right.

Well, I hate to beat an old tired horse myself, but so did Hitler.
Did that make it true?

Attacking someone only makes you look desperate, but have
at it if you must.

Said without a trace of irony.

Superman, eh? Grandiosity, thy name is Judy (as well as whoever it was that said it).

You know, Judy, assuming for a moment that what Lawson said and
you evidently agree with, may be true, what does that tell you about
Hinduism? If some guy can sit on his duff in a mountain retreat, and
do nothing of significance for 50 years except utter misogynistic platitudes and defenses of worn-out charades (ie caste system)
every now and then, and be considered "great" for it, that's setting
the bar pretty low, isn't it? But I imagine you knew that.

And I also imagine that the main reason you cling to this fantasy
has more to do with Self-Importance Syndrome than any actual
accomplishments GD may have had, of which I've heard nothing.
