Not at all. It shows that MMY had very high standing within his own 
spiritual tradition, so speculations that he was suffering from a 
case of spiritual sour grapes aren't well-founded. Had he been of a 
different caste, he WOULD have been Shankaracharya of the North.

That's true of any arbitrary story. I was merely pointing out that 
the stories I was quoting were often first-hand accounts by people 
who were there. What possible relevance would Joyce weaver's story 
about bug-squishing have to anything OTHER THAN it was a first-hand 
account, unlike what you implied earlier?

Stories are also used to teach important lessons, etc.

They can also be used to counter negative stories that are floating 
around on this forum about what a lousy spiritual teacher, human 
being, father, son, pet-owner, etc. MMY is.

Apparently something that you and many others don't want to hear. You 
especially. Otherwise, why bother commenting either way about 
something that you purportedly don't care about?
