I heard from a woman, one time, that men were kind of afraid of a woman's power, when she was in her monthly cycle, and of course a pregnant woman is certainly a powerhouse of Life... Seems like this prejudice has to do more with making a woman feel 'dirty' or 'less then'... Sad.
