Well, in India, I believe they guesstimate that at least 3 million took mass diksha of the pranayama/dissolved-witnessing technique, but I also believe they all got mantras that day too. I've heard other guesstimates of (as low as) 1.2 million. But in any event, this guy cooks mantra. Did you see the original videos of these masses of humanity all learning the mudras, all at once, thousands? It truly was like some Ravi-mela or Sahaj-Woodstock seriously. Brahmins rock and so does Ravi. He's really got that schtick down as far as I can see.
