Hello to all my Family and Friends, I thought it would be important to share this with you all so that you can share it with all your loved ones as well.
On Saturday 08/16/08 around 8:30pm someone attempted to abduct my little 11 year old female cousin. We have reported it to the local police station and today notified the Superintendent. The Superintendent mentioned increasing security around all of the schools since classes will begin this week. Just a brief synopsis of what happened: The perpetrator left from the middle school parking lot and began attempting the abduction on Taylor Street . He told her to get in the car and that he had a gun and would kill her. He chased her for a few blocks and through an alley up to 2nd Street where she was able to find a hiding place. She states that he cussed and threatened her the whole chase and tried to hit her back leg with his vehicle as well. He was driving a white mini van with tint in the back window. She states that he was a (dark) black man with an accent as he spoke broken English. She states that he looked to be in his 20's, had braids in his hair, was wearing a du-rag on his head, and had a scab on the front right hand. This man was very persistent.
