You are referring to Guru Dev, thinking you know His thoughts on this.

I'm a photographer and own many different kinds of flash-equipment. 
What I know about this is that if I have 5 batteries in one of those 
small handheld flashes and they all go flat; if I put in one new 
battery of a different charge instead of changing all 5 - POOF the 
whole flash is dead, gone. Off to Nikon for repair.

This is what will happen to the Guru-shoppers. The different charges 
they expose themselves to will burn them out.

Problem is that Nikon cannot help the souls that mix energies.
