When he was in Fairfield close to 20 years ago he was claiming that our Guru Dev was his master. He said that he was Guru Dev's cook, that he knew Maharishi and would imply that Maharishi was of lowly status in the ashram because he was only a clerk. People felt more comfortable following him because of this claim.
