They have secretaries! It is really creepy dealing with people who do not answer their post. I have had answers from some pretty busy and important people. There really is no excuse. When MMY started his movement he suggested calling the President. Just dandy for them not to answer the phone, open the mail huh? I was invited to get involved in the making of a documentary on the movement, and the director met with me and soon formed a favourable impression of meditation [he had gotten to read the MMY bio three times]. Come the day of filming he turned up very aggitated! Why? Well, after spending a whole bunch of time with movement types intent on controlling his every move, his positive impression of meditation was well and truely dashed. I thought I detected this feeling imprinted on the final product. And who was to blame for that, the movement. 'Control freakery' was a concept I was introduced to by the movement via that instance!
