Thom, I believe it's typical for newsgroup 
habitues to read only the posts of respected 
authors, passing over the writers who tend 
to disappoint. Is that reading style not 
practical for you for some reason? I can 
imagine many reasons why you may not want 
to read that way, but I'd rather read those 
reasons articulated by you, rather than 
generate them in my imagination.
