Dear Sir/Madam:

With reference to your article about Meditation and increasing life span:

If a study were released to the Associated press proving that Johnson and
Johnson's brand baby food takes away a baby's rash, it would be if very
irresponsible if the press reported-all brands of baby food take the rash
away. It is the job of the press to leave the people clearly informed and
not confused so that the people dont go and buy just any old baby food
thinking the effect will be there. It is clear that the difference between
responsible and irresponsible reporting can mean the difference between
helping or hurting people.

Your article about Transcendental Meditation as taught by Maharihsi Mahesh
Yogi ignores the fact that the study was only pertaining to this brand of
meditation and none other. Actually, TM is the first and only form of
meditation in the world today with this scientific result showing
extension of life. Maybe there will be more studies in the future about
other meditation techniques but it should be very clear that at present
there is not.

I hope you print another article and remove the confusion which this
article can create.

Thank You
