The city's Industrial Development Agency approved financing
assistance to
help two industrial companies and four nonprofits and grow their
business.
The aid will help generate about $80 million in private investment and
create about 130 new jobs.

Global Country of World Peace, a nonprofit alternative health care
services provider, was authorized to receive $6.2 million tax-exempt
bond
financing and a mortgage recording tax waiver of $175,000. The Iowa-
based
organization will use the funds to renovate and equip a building on
Broad
Street in lower Manhattan. The $9 million project will help Global
Country
establish a presence in the city and create 20 new jobs.
