I was merely talking about celibacy as "gene suicide," not the Catholics or anyone else per se. Not all monks or members of a celibate priesthood are in it for completely noble reasons, but consider the ones who are. They have effectively removed the genes that led to that rare caring about others from the overall gene pool. I just think it's weird, that's all...
