This link is not really related to Bob's article, but
is posted here for two reasons:

http://www.cse.ohio-state.edu/~panugant/downloads/chineese.wmv

The first is the physical beauty of this film clip. It
is a live performance done by a Chinese dance troupe to
celebrate the most recent Chinese New Year. It's about
six minutes long, and well worth watching to the end.

The second reason, which is why Bob's post reminded me of
it, is that, according to the person who sent the link to
me, all the dancers you see onstage in this production are
deaf. They time and coordinate their movements via visual
cues they receive from the people you occasionally catch
glimpses of on the sides of the stage. Enjoy.
