Well you could live there, you just couldn't own. Well the odd thing is, even though their country literally abuts ours, the primary difference is one of collective consciousness, their value meme (vMeme). Mexico as a government is a Red Meme country based largely on the egocentric exploitation, military rule and gang power, while the leading edge in the US is Green (Relativistic-personalistic/ egalitarian), with it's center of gravity at Orange (scientific worldview). That's three whole sections difference in collective consciousness between our leading edge and their collective. It would be a violent match. Like cool water falling in hot oil. Better to merge with Canada which is probably more Green meme/European style. :-)
