Don't you just love the smell of Republican self-destruction and the whiff of singed hair of Wingnuts running in panic? Surely, they know better. Naah. They're just a bunch of racist AND sexist white guys having a circle-jerk to be the first of the worst to attack Judge Sonia Sotomayor before the Senate even has a hearing to examine her record. Haven't we been down this road enough already?
I always knew the Rightwingnuts were sexist bigots. No surprise there. What is surprising was the zeal and bloody taste the Leftwing had for sexist attacks on Hillary and Palin, which were just as vile as the Rightwing attacks on Sonia ramping up in the media today. I see Obama's pick for SCOTUS as an opportunity for the Leftwing to step back and reflect on their deplorable behavior toward Hillary and Palin and deal with some cognitive dissonance and reconcile it with Obama's decision to pick a Hispanic woman. The Leftwing had a lot of practice speaking out against racism on Obama's behalf.
