As someone raised in the Unitarian Universalist CHurch ("THE" church? LOL),
I find it hard to empathize with your stance on the subject. Who cares what
someone else says is "really" important to you about your OWN practices and
beliefs?

I realize that many religions/belief systems DO place importance on this kind
of issue, but its hard for me to get worked up about what others are saying
about what my own beliefs/practices "really" mean as though THEY were more
important than me (or even as important as me) in this regard.
