Yeah, I keep wondering to what extent Mahalakshmi is able to stomach the vileness of the TMO. And for how long. For example "Raja Felix and his wife." The wives, it appears, have no names. Not one of them. It reminds me of Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale, about a future society in which the fundamentalist Christians have taken over. The women are named only by their connection to their particular "Commander." Thus Commander Fred's baby-making machine is called "Offred" (of Fred).
