One aspect of the FFL posts I notice is that most contributors express little
or no doubt about their opinions. With a few exceptions, ~100% contributors
believe they are totally correct in their (very disparate) views and are
equally vociferous in the rightness of their counter-arguments to others (who
also mostly believe _they_ have the truth.*

At least their messages give the impression that they believe they have ~100%
certainty in their opinions - which, of course, they may not in their
hearts/minds - not an unusual defense mechanism).]

*Strong parallel to the good old TMO way of being/doing. [I remember the first
guideline given to us after being made teachers was to never admit we were
wrong.]
