Dreaming for its own sake is great.

But for me, there's a distinction between dreaming for
its own sake and dreaming with a view to making the
dream a reality, especially when the attempt to translate
the dream into reality sucks up huge amounts of money and
time and effort and personal commitment. There's a
*responsibility* attached to that kind of dreaming that
isn't required with dreaming for its own sake.
