So when people refer to the inner circle as being "as mad as hatters" they're really quite accurate. The term "as mad as a hatter" (cv Alice in Wonderland) came from a time when hatters routinely used mercury for something to do with hats, got mercury poisoning and went mad.

It explains a lot.


The tendency in many westerners, Americans in particular, is to think 'if something is good for you, then more is better'. Unfortunately for Ayurvedic "siddha" medicines like Energol, the opposite is true. So someone swallowing pills once or more daily, on a long term basis is a recipe for disaster.
