Any evedence this works? I t hought It took $500 to cure depresion with Scientolgy. Now its only $29? I am quite happy and glad that you have a method that appears to help people. All power to you. I mean that. What concerns me is your misrepresentation that people who take SRRI's are "mentally ill". And that SSRIS are not effective. Broadcasting such mistruths is a disservice to all. And stigmitizing people who seek treatment for a something is immoral, IMO. What concerns me further is your continued misreprestations of statements. And this appears to be a Scientology tactic. And that is why I looked into Scientology a bit. It does seem quite odd to me. The alien body thetan model. I am surprised that you are not motivated to explain it clearly, to try to unveil my misunderstandings - if that is what I have. Rather, you repeatedly jump to kill the messenger instead of addressing the message. That signals to me that you have no defense. Trial lawyers always say, "when you have the facts behind, argue the facts. When you dont have the facts behind you, wave your arms and attack the guy's characer." You seem to never want to discuss the issue at hand, but just attack and distort the questioner. That appears to be a Scientology tactic from what I have read, and is consistent with Fair Game and all the other tactics I have read about Scientology. So yes, discussing Scientology seems relevant given your proposing it as a cost-effective solution to depression -- not olnly supperior to SSRIs, but something that should be used exclussive of SSRIs. I am quite happy to see and encourage multiple therapies for depression and neuro-transmittor related symptoms: well prescribed SSRIs, diet, exercise, yoga, meditation, counseling, psychoterapy, aroma therapy, -- and Dianetics too -- if any of these things can be demonstrated objectively to be effective. Having a pile of testimonials encouraged by the Church is as useful as TMO testimonals encouraged by smiley TMO center chairwomen. They are often given to please, to be polite. They are not objective or scientific indicators. Why is there NO, NOT ONE STUDY, on Scientology and depression? After 30+ years you would think t here would be at least ONE study if it is so effective as you claim. I am not obsessed with knocking Scientology, that is your diversion to not address the issues presented. Having looked into it, at your prodding, I do find some alarming things. Buyer beware. But for me there are a lot more important things to address than what appear to me as fringe cults. But I am interested? Have you never asked an OT III or above, or church leaders about "body thetans"? Are you afraid to ask? Afraid to be designated a PTS?
