Apparently the House bill would "help pay for the overhaul's estimated $1-trillion cost over 10 years by extracting about $500 billion in savings from Medicare and Medicaid." According to AARP, "about $231.4 billion would come from Medicare's budget." "Many seniors wonder how it is possible to cut that much without affecting medical care.
