Well, the Beatles course was spring of 68. In the next four India TTCs
beginning in fall of 68. Its my memory / impression that at least some
courses visited Swami Shantananda. Not positive. Perhaps David Fiske
could clarify -- or Rick could ask Connie or the Rob Mcs etc era
teachers. Some of those four courses did visit Tat Walla Baba,
AnandamoyaMa, Dal (sp) in Kasmir, etc.

I have a vague sense of Jerry's era of courses maybe 64 or so getting
tours of various sites and all in india -- perhaps those included
visits to Swami Shantananda also, not sure. It certainly would not
have been out of place or surprising.

The succession was in 53 so you are right we are talking 10-15 years
after that. But my impression, not incident based, is that MMY and
Swami Shantananda were friends and allies. As were he and Satyanand. I
assume MMY was part of the energy that got Swami Shantananda into JM
and enthroned "very quickly" just after the will appeared. I assume
the two were in contact through the 50's and that Swami Shantananda
probably gave him some sort of blessings that opened doors for him.
But that is all assumption and impression -- but no events that I know
of contradict the reasonablness of such assumptions.

MMY said something like, that as disciples, everyone was part of GDs
flow. No one was special. An implication was that everyone knew each
other -- as would be expected in an ashram.

Sorry my knowledge is sketchy. Maybe Paul Mason, Dana -- who has
interviewed Jerry extensively, as well as "everybody else", David
Fiske, etc can shed more light on this.
