Spending as a %of GDP has decreased from 10% when Eisonhower left
office to the current 3.7%. The MI complex has been cut into a third
of its former self. Personally I would liek to se it smaller. But to
deny the decrease is simply putting your head in the sand.

What does belief have to do with it? Are you suggesting the figures
are a conjecture?

Thats fine, but both charts together give a far broader perspective --
unless you have a conclusion you are trying to find facts to fit.

I hope you don't live your life based on platitudes as certitudes. You
