Yes, Saddam was a sadistic murderous ruler of Iraq. He should've
been removed. Is causing the deaths of tens of thousands of Iraqis
the solution? BTW, Saddam and Osama are still alive and well.

Diplomacy along with economic sanctions could've worked *had the US
wanted these alternatives to*. We pressure other countries, like
China (who have committed greater atrocities against their own than
Saddam ever did), with economic sanctions, and it appears to suit
our purposes.

But the cold truth is that there are too many Americans who think
like you do, including Bush (that little @#$%^& couldn't wait for
the blood to begin flowing in Iraq). See a problem? Call in the
bombers and the gunships and be done with it. Kill men, women and
children to *solve* the problem.

Only error with that thinking is the terrorist groups think
*exactly* the way you do. We think we are destroying "terrorism" and
they think they are destroying "The great Satan".

So please disabuse yourself of the deadly combination of Middle Ages
thinking and 21st century weapons. There is *nothing* in the Gita to
justify that.
