They finally posted the film schedule today,
and almost none of them are being shown in VO
(version original), only in Catalan, which
does me no good at all, or Castaellano,
which isn't much better.

This includes movies originally in English
that I was looking forward to seeing, like
"Moon," and Julie Delpy's "The Countess,"
"Pandorum," "Dorian Gray," and "Cold Souls."

Literally the only ones I want to see that
have an English-language showing are the
"hot ticket items," and may have sold out
before tickets even go on sale tomorrow
to festival insiders. Those are Terry
Gilliam's "The Imaginarium Of Dr. Parnassus"
and "Final Destination 3D," which I have no
interest in *except* to see the 3D. Sigh.

I guess I'll just have to content myself
this year with sitting at the hotel bar and
hobnobbing with the film festival crowd.
Which, actually, is a lot of fun, and last
year was far more fun than any of the films
shown.
