lawyer says Fitzgerald told him that Rove is a subject -- along with
everyone else: "that virtually anyone whose conduct falls within the
scope of the investigation, including Rove, is considered a 'subject'
of the probe." But as the article states, 'On the other hand,

the prosecutor saying he won't deny Rove is not a subject. But its
not in any way as definative as the proscutor saying, "yes Rove is one
of 3 specific subjects of the investigation."

Plus, I don't think Rove the primary focus (a non-technical term) of
the investigation. First, I don't think he is prosecutable in that he
probably does not have clearance for the Plame info. (a necessary
requirement for prosecution.)

His three testimonies before the GJ, I think are being used to gain
details to create a case against the person who told Rove. Chenny,
Libby, Tennent, even Bush are all possibilities. And for the most
part, more interesting.
