You can't study on an empty stomach. Amma has an extensive educational network too. The question is, which organization gets the most mileage out of a donated dollar, and why?. Amma brings a lot less foreign money into India than the TMO, yet seems to accomplish much more. Reliable on-the-scene sources have told me that a lot of the money (maybe 40%) the TMO brings into India is misappropriated. Not so with Amma's organization. Not that there haven't been incidents, human nature being what it is. But there's a high ethical standard from top to bottom in her organization, and much is accomplished with great frugality.
