I once saw him flip through a TIME magazine. I don't know for sure what the arrangement is, but I assume the news is condensed and prepared for him. I used to do this for a while when I was the head of World Plan News Service in Switzerland. Also, his eyes are bad so he wouldn't be doing much reading.
