No I wasn't. Someone I know went to her Ashram in India several years ago and had just come back. One day Amma was walking outside with the students. They came across one of the students shovelling out the sewer and having to stand in it to do so, as his work study job. I think he looked a bit put off by it, or said something, so Amma jumped in and started scooping the sh!t (with her hands I think?), and saying something along the lines of how everything, even such a job, is enjoyable and bliss or some such thing. The guy that told me this was impressed by it. It just reminded me of some bosses who would do some part of your job for an hour or so, and putting you down for not LOVING it because they loved it so much ....for an hour. Whereas I had been doing the same thing for days (physical ) and was not hired for that. I work for myself now.
