--This has more to do with the mentality of the insecure one's who 
may be running things; I don't think Maharishi himself would mind 
people visiting another saint who was in town. He himself would 
visit with other saints in India, in the early days at Rishikesh...
It has more to do with the unenlightened egos of the so-called gate 
keepers; it's always been that way around Maharishi, as he became 
more famous, and attracted more of the money people.
Maharishi is definetly a more masculine vibration, then this woman 
saint. 
Many have felt Maharishi at times to be the vibration of Shiva, the 
destroyer of ignorance...Perhaps Amma is the vibration of Shakti,
one is not better than the other, just masculine and feminine 
expressions of the God Source.
Shiva seems to be able to disolve all the ignorance in the whole 
world, one atom at a time...
