Probably because they're clueless about things like "cut and paste."  
You don't know how many times I've seen someone start to type in an 
article and I've shown them right click->select all->copy and then paste 
in to the client Window.  A couple years ago my nephew's wife created a 
book of Christmas song lyrics for our yearly jam.  She started cracking 
up when we did "The Twelve Days of Christmas" because she left out a day 
when she typed it in.   I had sent her a link to a lot of songs 
including that one so she should have just cut and paste.  She said "no, 
that wouldn't work because I wanted to change the font."  My older 
nephew and I had to bite our tongues to keep from rolling on the floor 
laughing.
