Seems to me, that everything goes in cycles...like the moon...dark to light back to dark back to light..
Now, life on earth seems to be "hitting a bottom" of some kind...Like an alcoholic, or gambler, has to "hit bottom" in order to "feel the pain" needed for change.
Change is always difficult, and is usually preceded by pain and neccessity..
My own experience suggests, that this time period which we are in at present, is a culmination of countless cycles, coming to fruition.
Many, many karmas balancing at once.
It can be a very dangerous time;
While at the same time, Maharishi seems to feel, that there is enough "coherent collective consciousness" to force the next level, some kind of "phase transition.
It is true, that a force of "inner peace" produced by experience of Transcendental Consciousness, or Silence is needed for safety in this transition. Eckhart Tolle, talks about, our human race having to rise to Cosmic Consciousness, on some level, heretofor unknown, and he says that human consciousness will rise, out of neccesity, to survive...
I also think there is a kind of accumulated effect of people rising in higher states of consciousness; to balance the fear, and darkness...

Does the Sat/Kali Yuga cycle and condition
apply to the whole universe, (and any other
universes, dimensions and so on), this galaxy,
this solar system or just Planet Earth?
